System Dittrich Semi-Auto After a very long wait, we have available in Canada, the semi-auto only version of the first Sturmgewehr rifle, in the original 7.92x33 Kurz caliber. Classified as a restricted firearm only due to its 363mm barrel, this is a completely faithful reproduction of the original rifle, production of which was kept secret from Adolph Hitler until the frontline troops expressed great admiration for it and its successor the MP43. The fit and finish is magnificent and its operation is very smooth, with a great trigger pull and excellent sights. It can take the original mount for the original 1.5x telescope and all magazines form the original Mkb & MP series of rifles can be used. It is one of the best additions to any collection of military icons and it is a great shooter, since Hornady manufactures loaded ammunition and 125 grain bullets for it & LEE has inexpensive dies for reloaders.
